PRE - TREATMENT PRECAUTIONS

Avoid Sunbathing, tanning, and sun exposure for two weeks before the treatment.
Do not preform waxing, epilating, electrolysis, and tweezing before laser treatment.
Do not get any chemical peels prior to laser treatments.
Avoid the application of Retinols, perfumes, moisturizers on the area to be treated before the appointment.
Please inform if you are currently Pregnant or breastfeeding, as we are unable to perform laser hair removal treatment during this period.
A Small patch test must be conducted at least 48 hours prior the treatment. This helps to identify any potential skin reaction.

AFTERCARE GUIDELINES

Apply cold compress, certain cooling lotion or gel to ease any dis-comfort it may occur after the treatment.
Try to avoid applying makeup on the treated area for the first day.
Avoid rubbing, itching, hot showers, swimming, excessive sweating, and tight clothing on the treated area.
Avoid sun exposure for 2 weeks to prevent from irritation burning and hyperpigmentation.
Always protect your skin from direct sun exposure and apply SPF 30 or higher through the course of treatment.
Avoid any other skin treatment for about 2 – 3 weeks after Laser hair removal.
No plucking, tweezing, or waxing
Always avoid application of topical products like deodorant for 1-2 days after the treatment,

Actively growing hair that is treated should not grow back. When the hair follicle is damaged it cannot grow back. However, you may consider a top up session once every 6-12 months, it is depending on the hair type.

Do I need recovery time from the treatment?

No, Soprano has no down time and requires no recovery time. You can do all your normal activities as usual.

What do I need to prepare before my treatment?

Please avoid applying any skin products to the areas due to be treated, always arrive at you are your appointment with clean product or makeup free skin.
Ensure all areas to be treated have been shaved one day before your treatment. Avoid waxing, threading, plucking, bleaching, or sun-tanning 4 weeks before your treatment. Fake tan or sun beds for 4 weeks prior to treatment. Do not use retinol, AHA or any skin peeling at least 3 days prior to your treatment.
Please remember to apply sunscreen on any areas due to be treated for at least two weeks prior to your treatment if you are going to expose to the sun.

How long do I need to wait in between my treatments?

General laser hair removal required 4-6 weeks to ensure you receive best results while facial treatment requires every 4 weeks.

Can pregnant women have the treatment?

No, we cannot perform this treatment if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
